May Super Moon Over Boise

Higher in the sky. Not as much atmosphere to distort the shape and color.

An exciting and eventful night. The moon! Huge and bright. 33% larger and brighter than it will be all year. It was beautiful! Look ..... And Enjoy!

Signs of Spring!

One of the original Red Tulips that were in our yard in 1985. There were over 400 of them. That number has now been greatly reduced and you can see "our" red tulips all over the neighborhood.

New this year, our Mustard and Ketchup Tulips. Oh, wait a minute. That's the name of some new roses I planted, but it fits here, too.

Spring Flowers

Yes, actually there are Spring flowers planted in the neighborhood. These belong to Brook and Ben Banks next door to us. Simply beautiful. Left-Click these for an awesome full screen view.

This photo was taken February 2012 south of Lake Lowell, Nampa. What you can not see are 600+ sheep in the dip of the road. What you see here are the leaders. We stopped our car, shut off the engine and enjoyed the serenity of the drive and the occasional soft "Baaa" of the sheep.

Wood Ducks

By the time I was 16, I had been around the world. Literally! I had slept in the bed of Kings. I had met Nehru, Presod, Lady Mountbatten and a host of other dignitaries. I had witnessed the beauty of the Veil of Kashmir and in Agra, I walked in the Taj Mahal. I had seen and walked in the Sistine Chapel and observed the artwork on the ceiling. Awesome!

But right here in Idaho, and more specifically here in Boise, we have the beauty of these Wood Ducks. Even the peacocks of India, don't evoke the beauty emotion that these ducks evoke. To me, they are awesome. I hope you enjoy this photo.
